Writers' Retreat

Creative writing retreat afloat

Join me in Greece this summer, for a week-long, private, creative non-fiction, or memoir writing retreat onboard Eidos, my 32-foot sailboat.

Whether you want to get started on a new project, finish your first draft, edit your final copy, or self-publish your book, I have the experience and knowledge to help you. If you have never written or published anything before, I'll help you start your own blog, write your first article, and help you organize your writing life.

Each day, we will have breakfast at 8:00 and then work on your manuscript from 9:00 to 12:00, either on board or in a local café. If you prefer, we can make lunch together and for the rest of the day, you will be free to pursue your own activities. There are beaches nearby, bikes to rent, hiking trails, and plenty of winding streets with cafes and shops to explore.

For more details, check the calendar for dates and then send me a message using the contact form on the side of this page. I will respond to you within a week.

The cost for this retreat is 500 Euros for seven days, shared accommodation on board Eidos and breakfast. I attempt to make this retreat as affordable as possible for beginning writers, so I am open to doing a trade with you. Let me know what you have to offer in exchange.

An online, creative writing workshop, mentoring, and private consultation.

During this six-day workshop, I can help you begin or finish your manuscript, whether it's an article for a travel magazine or a short story.

I will share my experience with you, to guide you on your way. Each day, we will meet for an hour via Skype, Google Hangouts, or WhatsApp to discuss your writing goal for the day, and I will answer your questions and concerns. I will support you in staying on track, overcoming blocks, and resolving problems. You can also send me your manuscript by email for a critique.

The price to join this workshop is 200 Euros or 40 Euros/hour.

To participate, send me a message with a sample of your writing through the contact form on the right.
